RD is July 20th
ND is August 17th
Did not file AP or EAD because I was think it may slow down my application, but I was just guess on this beside I don't need to change job or travel.
Guru people, on my notice it says above my Name A094 XXX XXX is this number my GC number?

Application Sent on June 30th. Recd in NSC on July 2nd. I had applied only 485 at that time. Sent the other forms later with the Fedex receipt no. Waiting for EAD/AP receipt now!!
I saw a few receipts/EAD's come out for NSC filers iwth TSC I140 and seems like this has stopped a bit. I haven't seen a lot of these receipts in the last couple of days... whats going on at TSC??????????????????????????????????????

We are praying for you. Do not loose hope. God has taken you this far and nothing is impossible for HIM.
I have known quite a few people who have been cancer survivors, some have gone through treatment and in some cases without treatment, it just went away. Like I said, don't loose hope. Try out the options that a lot of the folks have suggested on this forum and continue praying.

I fully support this rally...what I can do for now is to convince my friends to attend! I will also write some letters to TV and radio to cover this rally. I will also write on some blogs and invite others to attend the rally.

I am not againist H4 guys but i can't help but laugh when H4 guys complain that they were being treated bad by not allowing them to work.
One has to understand that US allows ppl on a certain basis and H4 is nothing but to join your spouse (or something like that for kids).
One can request them to make a provision for H4 ppl to work but blaming that they haven't done that simply by fogetting on what basis they entered US.... hmmm i don't know.
Questioning their speed of process and other irregular rules... yes i am with you but blaming them for above ... i don't think that is fair.
I wonder how many who come here on H4 know what complexities lay ahead in the G.C processing. unfortunately it is not easy to undo their marriage and go back.
They need a fair deal too just like the way those in EB-3 are waiting for a proposal that addresses their issues more directly rather than trickle down. I guess u r one of them.

USCIS only looks at your PD while they issue case number (when you file for 485) and next when they approve your case (they issue your GC)

It's not always rosey up there, but schools are just as good if not better than US, generally safer and less xenphobic, and they will welcome and appreciate your skills; pay you a fair wage (that through hard work and good relationships you can ratchet up over the years), and welcome your family. CAD is going up. US dollar is going down.

And guess what, if you really pine for the start and stripes, you can work your way to a transfer back on an L1 visa which may up your EB category and reduce your wait time.

H1B is a non immigrant visa, and we dont have the full constitutional rights, for eq we dont have the right to vote.
Legally we are not immigrants, that is the worst mistake( calling ourselves immigrants) ,being done by us,

This morning I received USCIS email alert for both my wife and I.
My I-485 application got a RFE. "We mailed you a notice requesting additional evidence". Will have to wait for the formal letter for the details.
My wife's I-485 application however was transferred to Newark NJ for interview. "This case has been sent for a standard interview."
I have a ton of questions at this stage. here are few in you gurus can help me while I am waiting for the RFE letter.
1) Will the RFE letter be mailed to me or my attorney ? what has been ur experience? do you get it in one week ?
2) why USCIS has split the processing of my I-485 and my wife's I-485. Her I-485 is transfered to Newark, NJ while mine is pending at TSC (now waiting for RFE response).
3) How much time will I have to respond to the RFE? Based on the new guidelines (http://www.murthy.com/news/n_timrfe.html) , I expect that to be stated in the RFE letter.
